Jonan you can't give someone a look like that and then not let them explain.

Vote for Runewriters on TopWebComics and there's a short doodle about Jonan's hiring decisions. c:

I think there's a joke here that went right over my head: what does Jonan THINK she meant?

Oh, haha I just figured he was confused -- if someone was talking about "I don't always read the stuff you're yelling" I might give them a "wtf" look too!

(Actually I would probably wonder if they're deaf and lipreading, but I have significantly more interest in that topic than Jonan does)

You SAY that, Tim, but even you aren't completely immune to the force of the "...." face when the squid hands are finally revealed.

I think Jonan is more irritated by the fact that Sev is just wantonly blurting out runewriter secrets to his friends. Maybe you're not suppoesd to tell non-runewriters about the magic words? I get the feeling that his funny face in the second-to-last panel was for something else, and Tari just assumed it was for her comment. WE SHALL SEE, SHAN'T WE

On an artistic note, MAN, I need to study how you do panels. They fit together so well, and I love how you insert the little mini-ones and overlap them, thereby fully utilizing the space. It flows really well. Maybe SOMEDAY I will figure out this magical ability.

And in panel 4 here you can observe what a great difference being mute makes to the exclamation "SHUT UP YOU!!!". Though we must admit, that this dear sir's voiceless enactment is more expressive than most people's yelling.

I have to say, you make the perspective shifts in each panel seamless, without drawing attention to them. I only just noticed how often you shift that.

And I am totally making the zombie chef and his unfortunate stir-fry head-canon. You left me no choice.

I second the stir-fry motion. (And the perspective note as well, of course, but clearly unfortunate zombie stir-fry is of TANTAMOUNT importance.)

Gosh, thank you very much! Perspective has always been a huge challenge to me so this means a lot! :")

(and I heartily approve of the unfortunate stirfry headcanon xD)
