Wow! I knew Jonan was infamous, but I thought that was more because of him randomly blinding people and whatnot, not because he actively storming a city with his army of zombies.

Still, not killing people... that's more than most people manage when they're wielding god tier necromancy magic. They kind of lose control of themselves in the moment and start slinging off powerful spells that wipe out thei target's extended family. Err... or so I hear. Not that I know any necromancers, m'self, obviously.

(Though this does make me wonder, not for the first time, how Loa feels about Jonan's reputation.)

Also, I felt that the whole Dr Dudeperson's mindbook being on his mental desk because it was an in-use memory was hinted at extremely well. Mostly because the book was lying open, unlike the others. I think that that specific touch was what made it so gosh darn guessable.

(Also, y'know, most runewriter magic seems to have handy UI, so it'd make sense from that perspective too.)
