The unexpected benefit of having lots of exposed ribs and such is there's plenty of spots to hang them off.

Necropony's stench has yet to be noticed and I am somewhat surprised. Considering how earlier Tareth smelled it from a different street(?), I'd've thought being in the same room as necropony would be immediately apparent.
