I don't believe one should ever apologize for writing long comments (especially when they give other readers something to think about . . . or put into words the things we were already thinking about without us having to do the work!). :)

Omg no you do not need to apologise for long comments!! THESE SORTS OF COMMENTS THAT ARE PUTTING PIECES TOGETHER ARE SO COOL AND I READ THEM ALL AND CHERISH THEM SO MUCH and so its a shame that I can pretty much only respond with some sort of ambiguously coy smiling emoticon so as not to give anything away.

Errrrrrrrrr NOPE!
So there are trees coming out of that decaying corpse with familiar hair (if that's hair, I mean, it could be a hood?), clearly that must mean... Nope, I got nothing. This was a very unexpected turn of events. First it was sweet, then it was eerie, and then it was THIS?!
He's a good painter, if that's a paintbrush? Is he even awake right now? So many questions, so little answers.
We know that white-hair woman from pages 2.33 and 2.34. They HAVE to be the same person, or my mind will be blown. We also know that she's able to cast a spell which reflects runewriters' spells. We also know that there's been an 'incident' in the Agorath Order which Esra believes is connected to runewriters becoming 'tainted'. And tainted runewriters are apparently a new thing. I feel like all this must be connected to that woman somehow.
She probably isn't a runewriter herself because her hair is all one colour, and she has the ritualist mark on her hand. But she doesn't have it all down her arm like Quentin and the magician have shown. I don't know what that means - that higher ranks have more tattoos? We haven't seen Esra's arm or any of the ritualists', so I don't think we have that confirmed yet. I'm very curious about that right now.
Would more tattoos allow access to more rituals, or are they just a mark of rank?
Another thing I find interesting is that the white-haired woman seemed to have a ritual or rune marked on her back (and possibly chest as well), which I assume she was able to use to deflect Jonan's spells. And what was she stealing from him?
I don't even know why I'm publicly asking all my questions, Shazz is too clever to even glance over them. :) Just consider this elaborate indirect flattery, Shazzbaa, because your comic is making me think very hard. :/
