Heheh, you're right! He's got the same lackadaisical charm that occasionally alternates with moments of "holy crap, that... that seemed pretty evil." Although admittedly, Agorath hasn't yet made himself as clear-cut a villain as our good friend Xykon ultimately is.
For those who care: Order of the Stick is good stuff and if you haven't read it, you probably should. The art is literally stick figures but the storytelling is fantastic.

Of course, that's likely where similiarities between characters from Runewriters and OotS end. It's not as though the protagonistic party contains a black guy associated with the colour green, a red-head who at some point loses their power of speech, or a blonde who is made from idealism and niceness.
Oh wait... holy smeg! O_O

Oh my gosh, wondering the internet late at night was so worth it for stumbling upon these comments from... 3 years ago? XD

Agorath feels a lot like Xykon from OotS. I don't just mean in terms of him forgetting important facts (such as where he left his keys), or him being the head honcho of a group of antagonists, or the disrespect he shows towards Redclo- err... I mean Esra. It's more just the kind of aloof calmness he seems to have, as though he knows he's untouchable and therefore takes nothing seriously.
